Denise Borino Quinn Died at 46: Denise Borino-Quinn,who unexpectedly won the role of woman in the Mafia "The Sopranos" after attending an open casting call, has died. She was 46.
The Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland, NJ, said Borino-Quinn died Wednesday after a long battle with liver cancer. Her husband, Luke Quinn Jr., died in March.
Roseland native who lived in Bordentown, Borino-Quinn had no experience in acting when she was hired in 2000 to play Sacrimoni Ginny, the wife mafia with a weight problem. The character quickly became popular with fans and was featured in an episode in October 2002.
