NBC Bay Area posted a report released Monday, showing a parade of the giants will be held Wednesday on Market Street, where the Giants won Game 5 of World Series Monday night. The Giants did, winning 3-1 behind a masterful pitching performance from Tim Lincecum, claim first title in the franchise since his arrival in San Francisco in 1958. SFGate.com reported after the final withdrawal of the Giants parade will begin at 11 am Wednesday at Montgomery and the streets of Washington and continue south on Montgomery to Market Street before continuing west on Market Street at Civic Center Plaza . The parade will replicate the route taken by the team when they arrived in San Francisco, New York in 1958. SFGate.com also reported that Mayor Gavin Newsom will present the team with the key city on the steps of City Hall.
