In connection with the release of her Indo-US production venture Hisss, in which she plays a snake woman, popular model and actress Mallika Sherawat recently visited the Mannarashala Nagaraja temple, Harippad in Alleppy district (Kerala).
She reached the temple at around 12.50 p.m., wearing a Kerala sari, malli poo (jasmine flowers) and traditional ornaments. A pure vegetarian, the actress later enjoyed the Kerala sadhya. Mallika landed at the Thiruvananthapuram airport in the morning and drove down to the temple.
"I am a Malayalee at heart. I like Kerala very much and I have bought a nice home in Kerala," she later said. Directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Chambers Lynch with Irrfan Khan, Jeff Douchette, Divya Dutta and Raman Trikha in important roles, Hisss will hit theatres on October 22 in North India and one week later in Kerala. The film is dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam by Sri Tirumalai Tirupati Venkateswara Films.
