Round Table Pizza


Round Table Pizza: Round Table Pizza is a great pizza chain in the western United States. The company headquarters is located in Concord, California. The company was founded in 1959 by Spencer Allen Owen (1946-2004) and William R. Larson Sr. (1933-2006). The company opened its first restaurant in Menlo Park, California.

In 1961, a friend of Larson drew some sketches of members of the Round Table Pizza eating court of King Arthur, and Mr. Larson then adopted the theme of King Arthur for his restaurants. The three shields in the official logo were added in 1970, and are intended to symbolize the letters "FUN". Round Table Pizza began to grow through franchising. Larson sold his restaurant to an investor group in 1979.

From about 2003 until 2005, the official mascots of the Round Table Pizza were two puppets, Matt and Marcus, appearing in commercials for the television company past. In the third quarter of 2007, the mascot of the Round Table Pizza, Pizza has become a knight, defender of the family of the night. The spokesman current characteristics of the "whisperer pizza".
