Breakfast at Tiffany s

Breakfast at Tiffany s, Breakfast at Tiffanys, audrey hepburn, ava gardner, rita hayworth, frank sinatra, dean martin: Well, my FI and I watched last night. So we thought it was good, we didn 't get why it''s got so much acclaim over the years. Yes, Audrey Hepburn, of "Holly Golightly" is charming to some extent, I suppose. Flakey A little odd and perhaps, but little endearing. I loved the movie, but I don "t LOVE it. Am I missing something? For those of you who have seen it, what did you think?
Answer:

I like it, but I certainly don "t think it''s for everyone. I can" not really put into words what I like about it, though, so I "m no help.
Answer:

I liked it better than a lot of crap out there. pure fun and if you want to see Singin 'in the rain, which is an Academy Award Winner in the top 10 films of all time that one is even more silly when BAT!

A wonderful film that I saw for the first time recently was Gone With the Wind! Have you seen that one of Zoe? I also really love Roman Holiday!
Answer:

Oh, I love Breakfast at Tiffany '! I "ve been watching since I was a little girl, but with all the films of Audrey Hepburn ', so maybe I" m biased.

Capote 'book is excellent, though. Even if you don "t enjoy the film, I highly recommend the book.

My other favorite films of Hepburn: Charade, Roman Holiday, Sabrina and oh is great, too!
Answer:

hey, wasn t my thing either. Don 't feel bad!
Answer:

Actually, no, Skippy, I haven "t seen Gone with the Wid. I" am not sure my attention span will last for the whole, as I heard It' looooong movie. It is on my list of movies that I would see one day. Also on my list are:

Schindler's List '(I "have never been to her Sooooo .... if depressing)
Funny Face
the original Father of the Bride

My mind just milled about the others but I "m open to suggestions. Maybe I should have changed the title of this thread to" Movies you haven "t seen it, but you should some day." Image

My Fair Lady is a favorite, and Singing in the Rain is wonderful too. Auntie Mame is one of my favorites. I think there are some amazing old movies to be seen.
B T was the one I saw so long ago, hard to remember all that, but it was not a bit loose for that time?
Answer:

J "I saw twice. Once in college and once last year when it was on A & E. I honestly n 't really like it either time. I much prefer the movie 'is like Singing In The Rain, Sound of Music or Doris Day movies like Pillow Talk ...
Answer:

Not my cup of tea at all.
Answer:

J "I watched a couple of times ... I like about this style is Holly, I love the costumes and hairstyles. It puts me out of the way it treats the cat, but he and never give anything but CAT. I don "t have any comments about the profound film I've liked for purely superficial! Image
Answer:

Zoe

There is not much substance to the film, except for the luxury of its namesake. I think if you boil it, Holly was a kind of money grubbing scam intrigues and close a call girl ... character. Which in the end, makes this kind of stuff is just stuff and love can come at any level of wealth. I think it is a method of moral or image nutty.

Like CAT and of course just see Audrey is a feast for the eyes. It was a classic beauty of doe-eyed. Style and breathes through every ounce of her. And Gee Whiz, what a life to stay out all night and eat at sunrise at the Tiffany '.

She has given so many wonderful performances ... Don "t judge it by this movie. ... As suggested Haven Charade, Sabrina and Roman Holiday are fabulous. I'm an old movie and Nutt which are part of my 10 favorite films. Of course, I have a list of 50 ... Cary Grant in Charade ... and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday ... and Bogey and Billy Holden are Sabrina and the list of characters you can "t go wrong ... no way anyway. How to steal a million dollars is a beautiful classic Hepburn ... and two for the Road ISN "t bad either. You have a ton of Hepburn to watch ... and when you do, BreakfastImage re-watch ... you'll have a much greater appreciation for the unexplainable passion for it and its role in this film.

It was reported that she and her mother escaped to Belgium or the adjacent paradise they found the night before the Nazis came and arrested everyone. I can not believe that someone who has seen so much horror out to be such an icon of style and grace. They said his body is thin due to malnutrition she suffered during the occupation. And another thing ... someone very famous ... I can t remember who ... thought her eyes were so like a doe doe (deer) he gave her one. A beast in real life. He lived with her and her husband was inside like a dog. She was known to take her with him on a leash ... everywhere. There is a photo of her in a grocery store and the doe is there. She sent Christmas cards that had all three on a sofa. Cool. I have a copy of a ... somewhere.

There was a large poster by PS ... zombie movie. I don "t have seen lately. I bet she could add more to my post. I hope I have intrigued your interest and you see the list I gave you. They are all treasures. Try Sabrina next ... and for goodness sake ... not the word!

Answer:

Sunset Blvd is one of my favorites! Like Psycho and the Birds, the films still scare me.
Like Casablanca, Vertigo, Rearwindow, Little Women (old version), and Citizen Kane
Answer:

Dh actually bought the DVD for me last year as part of my birthday hamper Image I think it has its charm, but many attitudes are dated. I 'am sure that Holly Golightly is considered a very modern woman in her time, but the true modern woman of today, it is interpreted as a money grubber.
Answer:

Yes I love it. I love her charade and see firsthand how it really is just a helpless child.

Regarding the films Audrey, my favorite is Sabrina.
Answer:

I need to update my Netflix queue and I think I "ll add a bunch of films Audrey Hepburn. J" Roman Holiday've heard is fantastic. I would also like to see the original Sabrina. I saw years ago when it was released remake.
Answer:

I love Audrey Hepburn, and images of BAT are superb, but I "am not a fan of the movie. I think she has many other amazing movies (Roman Holiday, American in Paris, the Funny Face .. list is long.)

Singing in the Rain is one of my all time favorites. I think it''s surprising that Gene Kelly and Donald O 'Connell can make the dance scenes in those few shots. It''s very interesting to watch the movie and realize that during the dance scenes, the camera rarely goes away.

And Gone With the Wind? Don 't get me started! It''s wonderfully amazing I just don "t know how to describe it. Although the book is better, the only reason the movie doesn 't measure because they had to cut some of my favorite scenes and characters combine for the sake of time. Vivien Leigh was Scarlett's PERFECT. It''s worth your trouble to look!

Last less, but my favorite movie of other old men prefer blondes. Who "love to watch Marilyn Monroe t sings" Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend "in the pink dress ... Her clothes, hair, songs in this film are so wonderful, not to mention all the diamonds!
